Is Daxi the Longest-Lasting Neuromodulator of the Bunch?

Although it’s still not available nor FDA approved, Daxi (daxibotulinumtoxinA) is a new neuromodulator that will soon be available and believed to last twice as long as Botox. The injectable neurotoxin boasts a proprietary accessory peptide packed within the formula. As a result, it binds more effectively to cell receptors allowing it to last upwards of 24 weeks.

Like other neuromodulators currently on the market, like Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau, Daxi has a larger field of effect, meaning it offers longer-lasting results.

So what does that mean for patients once the injectable becomes available stateside? You should need only two treatment sessions per year to stay wrinkle-free.
