This procedure addresses excess fat and skin in the outer thighs and buttocks region. Some patients only have excess skin on the upper thighs. In this case, they can have a thigh lift with only a horizontal scar within the groin. Excess skin extending along the length of the inner thighs towards the knees will also need a vertical incision.
