Injection performed into the muscles of the face that are responsible for movement that creates wrinkles. The treatment cost is per unit of injection. Commonly the injection amounts are: 30-40 units for the area between the brows and forehead, 18-24 units for wrinkles around the eyes (crows feet). 4-10 units for wrinkles around the mouth. Injection may be performed into the muscle of the jaw to help improve the contour of the lower face and relax the muscles that cause TMJ and grinding. In addition the injection may be performed in the armpits to help decrease sweating. 50 units is necessary to each armpit.
